No chafing, holds everything in place and breathable also found that they are good for when riding a motorbike. I like the fact that there isn't an itchy label and it's made from recycled materials however, as soon as I put them in the waist band rolls over. I'm only about 1stone over weight so not a very large belly but the waist band immediately rolls over on these which is annoying.
