The bag holds a lot of water and is subsequently heavy when full. In addition, in order for the shower head to be above head height the bag has to be approx 3ft higher which means it needs to be hung approx 9ft high. Hope that helps. **Q: How long does it take to heat up the water well?** A: We filled it up with hot water from the taps in the toilet when covid closed the shower block. Would definitely recommend it. We putchased a stand up changing tent to use the shower in. Just keep the bag a bit higher so the water runs freely. One of us just stood outside the stand up tent and held it up for the other. **Q: can you fill this with hot water if there is no sunshine to heat with solar power?** A: I don't know - I ordered one but they cancelled the order. I imagine, though, that you could. I use these (normally the black ones) every summer in Spain and the water is super hot by evening which means that you could, most likely put quite warm water in there for a shower. ## Frequently Bought Together - Solar Shower Bag, RISEPRO 5 gallons/20L Solar Heating Premium Camping Shower Bag Hot Water with Temperature 45°C Removable Hose on/Off Switchable Shower Head Hiking Climbing Summer Shower K8 - Outsunny Multifunctional Folding Camping Cots for Adults, Elevated Tent with Sleeping Bag, Thick Air Mattress Pad, Portable Single Sleeping Cot Camping Bed - Pop Up Pod - Privacy Shower Tent, Dressing Room, or Portable Toilet Stall with Carry Bag for Camping, Beach, or Tailgate by Wakeman Outdoors --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/122664784-solar-shower-bag-20-l-camping-bag-for-shower-hot](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/122664784-solar-shower-bag-20-l-camping-bag-for-shower-hot) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
