Review: Excellent, good value camera - I was sent this camera as part of a free test, but with no obligation to write a positive review. However, the camera is fantastic and value for money is excellent. Picture quality is high both in the daytime and using nighttime infrared mode. I did have a small problem with the camera consistently flicking between daytime and nighttime mode, however a quick reset sorted this out and we’ve had no problem since. No need to subscribe to any form of cloud storage service, video record recordings can be stored on a microSD card that slots into the camera. The app works well, and integrates with other cameras that I have around the home. Settings are useful but not overcomplicated and set up was very quick and simple. There are options to adjust the motion detection, frequency and type of alerts, and the intelligent tracking is particularly useful if you intend to use this for pets who are likely to move in and out of the camera frame. The mounting arm supplied is also useful, as it has a rotating and bendable arm rather than a static mounting point, allowing for extra adjustability. Overall fantastic value for money and very easy to use. I would happily purchase another in future.
Review: Great camera, great customer support! 10/10 - Bought this to keep an eye on my poorly kitty when not home, and i cannot fault it!! Exceptionally easy to set up. What can I say? It just worked!! So far I haven't had any issues with the app. Super easy and straightforward to set up. It connects instantly, even after camera has been unplugged. No memory card needed unless you want to record and store direct from the camera. All features seem to work perfectly with next to no latency. Camera is crystal clear. Good functionality. The IR nightmode is nice and clear. If I was to nit pick, it would be nice to have a nightmode toggle on the app, as i find it prematurely activates when the room is still quite bright (edit: turns out this option was there all along), but that's more than made up for in the clarity of the IR picture, of which I can't fault! I did have a minor manufacturing issue with my initial camera, however the Wansview customer service were brilliant and couldn't have been more helpful, offering options to rectify the issue, in a way that suits me. Very friendly and prompt replies! All in all, I'm glad I spent the extra (£1-ish) to get this brand instead of a knock-off!!! If I need more cameras in the future, I won't think twice about using this brand. Its certainly good value for money, particularly when you factor in aftercare & customer service.

**Q: Is it wireless? Does it connect to 5g?**
A: No. The "wireless" refers to wireless WiFi connection. But the pet camera needs to be plugged in all the time. The dog camera only work with 2.4ghz wifi. Most routers supports 2.4ghz and 5ghz at the same time. You can check the router settings first.

**Q: Why can't the pet camera be connected after disconnecting?**
A: 1.Restart the baby monitor camera by unplugging and refresh the app, then see if it is back online; 2.If not, press the RST button for 5s; 3.You can then reconnect the indoor security camera when the light flashes blue and red/flashes blue twice.

**Q: Do I have to subscribe to cloud storage to watch the pet camera?**
A: Users can watch the security camera footage on the app for free. Cloud service is optional. Users can also freely enjoy motion alert feature and SD card storage (card is not included) for recording and playback.

**Q: How to share the pet camera with my family?**
A: 1.Family register their own account; 2.Camera owner go to camera [Settings] > [Invite Family & Friends] > Tap [Share] icon > Enter family's email address > Choose [Share settings] > [Confirm]; 3.Family account open the app and tap [Receive].

**Q: Why there is nothing after inserting a SD card?**
A: If you insert a micro SD card (up to 128GB) but no memory card storage setting, it's because the card is not recognized by the pet camera. You can format the card to FAT 32 or exFAT; try another SD card; restart the camera and update its firmware.

I was sent this camera as part of a free test, but with no obligation to write a positive review. However, the camera is fantastic and value for money is excellent. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Camera

Easily the best feature of this camera is the setup process. The cameras speaker gives you feedback over the process. The App uses a QR Code to pair with the camera, so hold your phone in front of the camera and seconds later the pairing is completed and speaker tells you. I also used the WiFi Setup Option, with this, you connect your phone to the camera WiFi and Then follow the on screen prompts, for me it was 2 clicks and the camera set it self up. You can save Positions almost like short cuts so you can easily move the camera pan and tilt position into a previous favourite spot at the touch of a button. Would be nice if you could set it to move through these positions at an interval. Maybe a future update will have this. The night vision mode is really impressive and clear, takes maybe a second to switch from IR to normal mode. The speaker is prob 7/10, but the microphone is insane. It was picking up the clicking of my gaming keyboard from 4 meters away. This can lead to feedback if you use the phone too close to the camera to view it. I haven't used the bracket / clamp that came with the camera, but it comes with a camera tripod size wall bracket, so you can mount it. You can also fix the camera so other things like a camera tripod too. The only negative I can find is, the inbuilt microphone picks up the sound of the motor when you are panning or tilting,but that's purely down to the small size and price of the device. Ultra Sonic motors are expensive, and sound deadening is bulky. For under £20 you cannot get better. I have now put an SD card in, on 24/7 record (it only records when there's motion) it uses around 2.2gb on busy day, and around 1.4gb on a slow day. So the 128gb card I put in, should manage about 2 months. Update: The memory card didn't used to be able to connect to remotely, this has now changed, the main account holder can access the memory card remotely. For the price, and ease of setup, and features you really can't find any better.
