I've tried all of the commercial brands, as well as upmarket brands like Anthony for Men, Rocky Mountain Barber and Taylor of Old Bond Street. It was one of the closest shaves I've ever had, short of a professional shave. I can now go 3-4 days before I need to shave again, compared to 2-3 before. It doesn't dry out your skin like the other brands, plus when you use the aftershave, your face feels like a million bucks. It's also eliminated issues with ingrown hairs, breakouts, etc. This product is great! So when I go this product, it stated on the container that it was to be used without a shave brush (which sucks, cause I really like using shave brushes, they're relaxing). When I first put this product on, I noticed it made almost no foam or anything, it was nearly translucent. But after shaving, it felt great. The Aveeno tended to create ingrown hairs often, but as of getting this shave cream, my ingrown hair issue has all but gone away. Lots of product in a small container, have had it for a while now and it still looks like its brand new. The after shave has an incredibly fresh power, and I love the scent to it. It makes my face feel great, and I definitely notice the improvement over the other stuff. Notice less cuts and razor burn when used with a shave oil. I tried it without the oil and was a little rough on a 3 day beard. It's a no lather product which takes getting used to, but am starting to enjoy as it allows you to better see what your shaving which is nice. Definitely good quality but a little spendy for shave soap.
