Fancy ones in stainless steel, cheaper ones in resin, I mean, I tried them ALL. They either rusted (even the fancy so call rust proof stainless steel ones), or were not dishwasher friendly, or broke after 6 months of use. This is my 2nd purchase of this garlic press. The first one lasted over 5 years, and that's with using it 5 days out of 7, and NOT for a single clove each time... They are sturdy, comfortable to use, and it's a breeze to remove the fibers before I toss it in the dishwasher.
