They definitely need to be washed a couple times before they are absorbent. Do not use fabric softener or dryer sheets as these will leave a coating on the fabric that basically makes them repel water. I have had the cloths for over a year and they are still holding up great! I will repurchase once these wear out some and I downgrade them to household chores. Review: Kitchen Favorite - These reusable paper towels have been a standout compared to other alternatives I’ve tried. Right away, I noticed how absorbent they are. They handle spills quickly without needing multiples, and they don’t just push liquid around like some reusable options can. The texture is also a big plus; it has just enough grip to help lift and scrub away dried-on food or sticky messes without falling apart. They’ve held up really well through regular use in my kitchen, from wiping counters to cleaning up after cooking. What I appreciate most is how easy they are to maintain. After using them, I simply toss them in the washing machine, and they come out clean and ready to use again without losing their shape or effectiveness. In terms of appearance, they have a clean, simple look that fits nicely into my kitchen setup. The material looks more durable than standard paper towels, and even after multiple washes, they maintain their color and structure without looking worn out or frayed. They’re neat enough to keep on the counter or on a holder without looking out of place. I would say they are definitely thicker than a disposable paper tower but thinner than a typical kitchen towel. Another benefit is that they dry fairly quickly, so they’re ready for reuse sooner than expected. Over time, I’ve found myself reaching for these instead of disposable paper towels, which has helped cut down on waste and frequent repurchasing. Overall, these are a durable, practical, and eco-friendly alternative that performs well for everyday cleaning tasks while also offering long-term value. ## Features - Eco-friendly Alternative: Embrace an earth-friendly lifestyle with these reusable paper towels, a great alternative to traditional ones. These products must be packaged so that they are not damaged during receipt, stocking, shipment preparation, or delivery to the customer. Place units in a sealed poly bag, shrink wrap, or box. Regular-size hangers usually must be removed (for more information, see Hanger removal on Prepare your products for FBA shipping)." It is an option but a lot choose plastic. I've purchased other similar items in a box or packaging which can be recycled easier. **Q: What percentage of these are cotton and what percentage is bamboo?** A: I bought them, but no longer have the packaging. I think they’re 100% cotton. I think bamboo is in the description so they’ll come up in searches for paper alternatives. I love them & use them as reusable paper towel. **Q: do they work to clean windows?** A: Once these have been washed a few times they are really absorbent, so yes I think they would work great for cleaning windows. Hope that helps. **Q: So why is it described as “bamboo” if it’s 100% cotton?** A: I see bamboo in the title, but not the description further down. I speculate they included it to increase search results, but I can’t be sure. I’ve seen things like that before such as “Boys birthday” as part of the title for a unisex toy. I purchased these un-paper towels & they are cotton. If you’re seeking bamboo, you’ll need to keep looking and check the product description. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Durable and affordable alternative to paper towels! *by K***. on May 30, 2025* I use these daily to wipe off counters and clean up messes in the kitchen. A You Tuber got me excited about them. I did Not wash them before using, and they seemed very good during usage, regarding absorbancy. They did get a bit dirty & I was hoping that would come out in the wash......and it did! I saw some videos where the cloths looked really crinkled & had shrunk a bit after washing. So after washing, I decided to lay the 2 I had washed, on top of the dryer, as it gets quite warm up there while laundry is tumbling. I layed them flat & smoothed them out. They were dry that evening, No Stains, No Shrinkage AT ALL! I measure them with the new one & I couldn't tell which was new & which one had just been washed! So pleased. There were no wrinkles whatsoever because I had smoothed them flat to dry. They have a nice 'weave' pattern to them so this also helps in cleaning, very happy, will buy again! ## Frequently Bought Together - 20 Pack Reusable Paper Towels Washable - Nature Friendly - Organic Cotton Alternative - Thick, Strong, Paperless Kitchen Dish Cloths - Reusable Napkins - Dish Towels - Cloth Napkin - Kitchen Towels - AIRNEX Natural Kitchen Sponge - Biodegradable Compostable Cellulose and Coconut Scrubber Sponge - Pack of 12 Eco Friendly Sponges for Dishes - HONEST WEAVE GOTS Certified 100% Organic Flour Sack Cotton Kitchen Hand and Dish Towel Sets - Extra Large 27x27 inches, Fully Hemmed, 12-Pack, Natural Tan --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/122070273-mioeco-20-pack-reusable-kitchen-paper-towels-organic-dish-cloths](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/122070273-mioeco-20-pack-reusable-kitchen-paper-towels-organic-dish-cloths) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
