**Q: Is it tend to stay vertical position?**
A: Hello, no, this brush does not stand up.  It lays down on either the bristle side or the handle side.  You will see we provided an image of a few of the Ultra Smooth Detangling Brushes laying down (handle side).  Hope this helps you!

**Q: Can this be used as a normal brush or is it just used in the shower?**
A: It works great as a shower brush or regular brush. We own 2 that way 1 stays in the shower and 1 stays dry. My daughter has thick curly hair. This is the only brush that gets the tangles out with no tears!

**Q: Can this be used in the shower?**
A: I don't think so.  The comb is infused with Arian oil which would get washed out, I would think.
It should be used as a dry comb.
