I've used turpenoid natural for all of my color pencil portaits! I’m not sure why you would unless your using it for something specific. I have mixed it with lavender oil to use as a paint medium for china painting. **Q: Does this product have a strong odor?** A: It has a slight odor, but not as intense as turpentine.It does a nice job of cleaning remaining paint residue on brushes. **Q: Can this be used to clean brush while painting between colors?** A: I have used this between colors whenever I have had a build up of multiple colors on my brush and needed a clean start.
