I have a grown up Special needs child living with me in addition to another adult autistic child and an elderly parent. Defending my wood table has been a full time job. A: It does have stitching on the ends.  White -not very noticeable though

**Q: Thickness?**
A: It's pretty thin.  Maybe as thick as a sheet of paper?

**Q: How many mil thick**
A: 6.5 mm = 1/4".   Highly unlikely.  Similar products are 1.5 mm thick.

**Q: Can it be cut to size?**
A: I would say no. The ends are finished and stitched. It would be obvious it was cut.

I had ordered this protector for another table some years ago and loved it so I ordered it again and love it just as much. It is heavy duty and looks great and protects my expensive tablecloth and material placemats as I use my dining table daily. Can't help but have some fold lines but it eventually relaxes or you can use a hair dryer if you want faster results.
