Review: Love this stuff - Frog lube is 1 of the best gun lubes on the market. It doesn't take much to go a long way and makes cleaning fast and easy at the same time. The lube acts as it's own solvent and breaks up carbon deposits so that wipe away quick and easy. Smells great too. ## Features - GUN LUBRICANT WITH METAL ABSORBING TECHNOLOGY: Our proprietary gun lube bonds to metal under heat, creating a friction-fighting barrier that resists wear, rust, and corrosion. Its an oil based product so do not get it on anything that you dont want stained. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love this stuff *by R***E on April 12, 2026* Frog lube is 1 of the best gun lubes on the market. It doesn't take much to go a long way and makes cleaning fast and easy at the same time. The lube acts as it's own solvent and breaks up carbon deposits so that wipe away quick and easy. Smells great too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can't say enough good *by B***S on March 29, 2013* I've tried dozens of different CLP's on side arms, antique rifles and modern semi-automatics, and I'm most impressed with this one and I doubt if I ever change to anything else. Personally, I prefer the paste to the liquid because I don't go through the product as quickly. I like it because it has gotten crap out of the barrel that I have been unable to get out with other products. The other biggest advantage is that a lot of the ammunition I shoot is either corrosive or extremely dirty. Everything comes off like a charm. I have several Mosin's, one of which had a very difficult bolt. After disassembly and two applications of froglube (heat metal, apply product, let cool & clean) everything moves smooth as silk. Unlike oil based products, this can be used inside without the need for extra ventelation. Other positives: Safe to use, won't harm skin, poses no danger to people or pets and it smells really good. Important note to anybody who has any weapons that have been packed in cosmoline: Froglube and cosmoline don't play together all that well. Over time, FL will break cosmoline down, but until then the combination will create somewhat of a gummy gunk. Absolutely, positively remove every bit of cosmoline from the metal, by either using mineral spirits, denatured or isoprophol alcohol, or boiling hot water. I would also recommend thoroughly removing any from the furniture that comes in contact with the metal. To be completely objective, the only down side to this product is its expense. Between the tiny bottles of solvent and the CLP, you can expect to spend anywhere from 15 to 40 bucks, depending on what product or combination of, you purchase. Also, you will need to get rid of all oil based solvents, cleaners and other CLP products, as this system replaces them all. Update 12/1/2013 I've tried several other "non-hazardous" CLP products, at considerable expense and I'm just going to stick to Frog Lube. You will probably read this in other reviews or in web forums, but it's imperative that you remove all petroleum based lubes as best you can AND "season" two or three times. I use either a really warm blow dryer or a heat gun, and heat the metal up to at least 180 degrees, apply the product and then let it cool to room temperature. After converting at least 6 Mosin 91/30's, the ubiquitous bolt stick that usually occurs after a few dozen rounds in quick succession, is gone. The bolt is just as smooth on the 100th round as it is on the first or second. ## Frequently Bought Together - FrogLube Paste - Bio-Based, Long Lasting Gun Grease for Gun lubrication - Made in Usa - Owned & Developed by Retired Navy Seal - FrogLube Extreme Gun Oil Lubricating Formula - Bio-Based Gun Lube - Long Lasting Gun Lubrication - Owned & Developed by Retired Navy Seal - Frog Lube Gun Cleaning Solvent – Bio-Based Gun Cleaning Spray for Carbon & Residue Removal – Made in USA – Owned & Developed by Retired Navy Seal --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/1208276-froglube-paste-gun-lubricant-non-toxic-gun-grease-lubricates-protects](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/1208276-froglube-paste-gun-lubricant-non-toxic-gun-grease-lubricates-protects) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
