Works great with Comcast Xfinity Home. *by S***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 18, 2015* I purchased multiple cameras and have been very pleased with their quality and performance. I have Comcast Xfinity Home security and use the cameras with the system. These are the same exact cameras that Comcast tries to sell for $129. Adding and pairing the camera(s) to the Xfinity Home system is easy to do. The camera comes with an ethernet cable, an RJ45 POE (power over ethernet) splitter/injector and the AC adapter. On your Xfinity Home touchscreen go to Settings> Home Devices> Cameras> Add Camera... then go to the Xfinity Home router and plug the camera into any open ethernet port and plug in the AC adapter to power up... Go back to the touchscreen and press next to locate the camera on the network... Follow the on-screen instructions to initialize the camera... (Sometimes the camera needs to be reset by holding down the button on the back of the camera for 45-sec)... Follow on-screen instructions until it says to unplug the camera from the router and to place the camera in the desired location.. Plug the camera in using just the AC adapter and wait about 2 minutes for it to connect to the wireless network (The center and left green lights must be solid)... Go back to the touchscreen to finish installation. One brief mention about Comcast. As you probably already know Comcast is a deceitful and difficult company deal with, always be on alert! There are various Xfinity Home packages, Home Control 300 is the middle package and the most commonly subscribed to one. Comcast forces you to add the Enhanced Video element for $6.99/month i order to have more than 1 camera on you system. They allow up to 6 with the added element. For me personally, I think it is worth it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ADT Pulse Setup *by J***H on Reviewed in the United States on October 18, 2014* Pros:- Easy to setup and connect to ADT Pulse- Good video quality (not shockingly amazing, but good)- Easy to mount on the wall- Great view rangeCons:- Not discreet: - Fat cable for power makes it hard to hide without running wires - Lights constantly on make it easily visible at nightHowever, for $50, you can't really go wrong. If you really want to have a more discreet camera you can shell out the extra money that it would take. Also, the firmware update takes about 5 minutes to apply. When you connect to the ADT hub you need to be very patient and let everything install.Here's what I did:1. Write down the MAC from sticker on the back of the camera1. Connect blackcable to camera (the large network cable)2. Connect the white (Y-split) to the black cable3. Plug the Y-split network cable into the ADT hub4. Plug in the power5. Wait for TWO green lights on the front6. Log into ADT and setup the camera (System > Manage Devices > Cameras > iCamera-1000)7. Grab a martini, this might take a while with the update7. Now, for the installation i got via email the instructions, and no matter they are for a ADT security system, was so similar add my 2 new cameras to my COX home life system: the physical set up is the same that the one pictured in the instructions you will receive and connect it physically to the router. After that go to your cox screen at home, and on settings log in with your main password, go to cameras, add new camera and simply follow the instructions..... after that discontent the y cable from router and conect your camera wherever you need it! For me took no more than 10 mins do all the process for 2 cameras. :).
