NO-SPILL 2-1/2 gal. Gas Can

This is a great gas can and it's cheaper than I could find at my local stores by several dollars. The spout is easy to use, won't spill easily and I love that you can easily see how much fuel is left in the can. I would definitely recommend this product and this seller.

This is the original brand and design that started things. There are knock-offs and variants that cost a little less but probably don't seal as well. This one seals tight, leaks no vapor, and lets you fill a lawnmower, trimmer, chainsaw or the like without spilling. I recommend it.

I’m getting up in age so I have to keep my lifting to a minimum so 2 1/2 gal is the right size for me. It’s definitely no spill and easy to hold and operate. Im going to buy a few more. Highly recommend.

I have similar fuel cans that I purchased locally; however, they have a handle molded into the back of the can that makes it much easier to hold while pouring. They are either too small or two large for the use I have for the two of these cans I ordered on Amazon. I failed to notice this fuel can lacks that handle, but it is otherwise exactly what I wanted. It fits perfectly on the rear passenger step on each side of my Outlander 850, allowing me to carry more than enough fuel to refill my fuel tank on a long trip and, if tightened properly and not overfilled, they do not vent off gasoline fumes or seepage around the pour cap. I only gave four stars due to lack of the rear handle on the can, but that is my fault for not noticing its absence - the fuel can is a quality product at a lesser price than many power sports fuel cans I evaluated.

UPDATE: September 22, 2020: It has been 3-years since I purchased the 2 and 1/2 gallon No Spill gas can. I am happy to report, that my No Spill can, is still performing admirably! Infact, its been performing so well, that I decided to order another one! I'm planning to purchase a generator soon, and I needed another gas can, so I ordered a 5-gallon variation of the No Spill can. I've included a picture this time, showing my 3-year old 2 and 1/2 gallon gas can, and my new 5 gallon gas can. But if you pay close attention, you will see a flexible hose accessory on both of them. These flex hoses don't come with the gas cans, but can be purchased for them as an optional accessory. I highly recommend them, as they make filling gas tanks far more easier. Original Review... My old can developed a leak in the spout, which would drop about an ounce of gas for each fill, on the ground. Obviously, the goal is not to spill gas when I fill my gas tanks, and I'd prefer not to receive gas on my hands. I've been aware of this design of spout for a couple of years now, I just wasn't ready to pull the trigger until 2-months ago. I immediately liked this spout as soon as I first used it. All you have to do is remove the spout cap, place spout in gas tank, then push button behind the spout to release the flow. When you release the button, it stops the flow, simple. Keep in mind, due to EPA regulations which have been metaling with gas cans for the past 17-years, gas cans no longer vent themselves. The result of which, atmospheric conditions, can and will cause the can to expand with vapor pressure inside. Make sure you press the button on the spout at least once while the can is in the vertical standing position, to release the pressure. If you don't do this before filling your gas tank, the gas will flow at an extreme rate, that will cause you to make a mess. As long as you follow those tips, you will have no problems. I give this can a 5 out of 5.

Great gas can, perfect for chainsaws as it is easy to precisely shut it off. And it actually flows very quickly unlike most modern safety cans

I purchased this gas can to take with us as we travel with our camper trailer and generator. This is the perfect size for our needs and will fill our generator twice. The material used is of good thickness and the spout design allows for no dripping. However, it can be a little awkward pouring when the can is full - making it heavier - and trying to press the lever to open the spout, but it is doable. I'm pleased with this purchase and it works well as intended.

Sturdy

I've bought no-spill fuel can spouts before and have been disappointed. This one came on a can, is simple to use, and is reliable—so long as you pay adequate attention to what you are doing when decanting petrol. Listening to the changing sound as the tank fills is more helpful than seeing the fuel level. The flow of petrol stops immediately when the button is released. Highly recommended.

V v nice and practical.....

I have just used for the first time and I am really surprised how convenient and controllable it is. It is in my car and I don't smell any fumes. When I refuel my portable generator, not a single drop gets wasted or drips. Excellent can.
