Pleasant taste, mint with a hint of fennel or licorice, which I hate, but it's tolerable here. The paste does contain Sodium Laurel Sulfate, Saccharin, and Hydrolyzed Silica, the 1st 2 being somewhat toxic and the latter is known to destroy tooth enamel, although it is commonly used as a plaque remover.
