I've made my own ground beef and my own recipe for breakfast sausage and sausage links for the bbq grill. It's so great to save money these days by purchasing my own bulk cuts of meat and putting in my own combination of meats and seasonings for me & my wife's tastebuds. It paid for itself after my 2nd use and I didn't Fudge on materials it's made from by chosing anything other than Stainless steel. I recommend highly for getting healthy and saving money over buying pre-packaged store bought meats and buying a brand made ONLY for one purpose. I highly recommend buying the Kitchenaid mixer because of your large choices of add-ons to save countertop space and money. Unless you're going to be making enough meat products for selling massive amounts of ground meats instead of home use for family, this should be your choice. Cleans up well and I use sanitizer on all my cleaned parts before storing away for my next use. It's such a good feeling of accomplishment once you taste the results and see the savings.
