There is no battery cover. It arrived very dusty and the clock pieces itself feel like cheap plastic. I was very unimpressed. It is made from an old vinyl record. You can tell with the lines and grooves of the characters. The face of the clock is a sticker placed over the label of the album. It is a unique find but 2 things would of been great. 1) the record label was at least on the other side so you can see what the record used to be and 2) come down on the price. The piece wasnt worth what I paid. 19.99 would of made this 5 stars and worth it.
