Unlike a tampon it’s also non absorbent. I googled just using a tampon to help with my issue but that is to be avoided if not needed for a menstrual cycle. A tampon’s absorbency when not needed can lead to TSS. My only complaint is that the sizing kit is not quickly available. I think I saw one but wanted to start using the product immediately. Of course size 3 works best for me and that’s the size I bought last after buying the other 2. As they aren’t cheap, I’m just trying to use those up on days that I am not as active.
