**Q: Are these firm enough to sit on without the block squishing? I intend to use them as a low cost meditation stool, which won't work if they're too soft**
A: They are not made for sitting or standing on.  They are for balance support when doing different yoga poses. They are made of firm foam.  I would not suggest using them for sitting or standing on.
