Carefully checked the chest measurements, if they were as described, the item would have been a generous fit on me, unfortunately could barely get it over my head. My husband just laughed!Be aware that the buttons on the front don't extend all the way down. It's a false opening. So there is really no leeway regarding the fit.Only good thing I can say is that it does appear to be cotton.
