I purchased the moss because I had a couple of orchids that I had replanted (after flowering).  This was so the roots would not dry out once moistened.  It was very dry when I opened it (be careful not to inhale once opened) but once I placed it in the plant and spray misted the moss, it was fine.  Just what I needed and expected.

Came dried so I soaked it in a little bit of water before putting it in a terrarium.Good value and was added on to other purchases.It looks nice and a good decorating feature rather than something fake.Good moisture absorber between pebbles and soil also!

It’s great! It is living moss but you have to soak it in water. I couldn’t tell from the other reviews if it was or not and bought it anyway but yes it’s real moss, you get a lottt in the bag, when I soaked it it filled a large mixing bowl. Very happy! I used it for my tree frog terrarium and had surplus! Recommend.
