Well, I can't prove it's not, but I have have many other flashlights with less advertised lumen and they are brighter and they have a longer through. Nothing wrong with this flashlight. I like the 20 better, but this will be a good strong backup. Companies are creating so many gimmicks these flashlights could be dangerous in an emergency. If I just have a second to get a light on a threat, I want to be assured one push of one button will get me the brightest light. You can do this with the LD22. You can turn off the upper button and just use the tail button, which is what I do. This order arrived quickly and in good shape. As soon as I realized I had ordered an LD22, I reordered another 20. Fenix flashlights have never let me down. When I am in the woods after dark it is reassuring to have a few of these lights in your pockets. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Light up the night... *by T***O on Reviewed in the United States on July 9, 2013* I have a couple of flash lights from Fenix... they are of the highest quality.
