They're expensive, but compared the poor quality of other briquettes, they're almost worth the price. I've had them for over a year now and I've cleaned them a couple times now. They aren't fragile, they don't crumble and they work. They spread the heat in my gas grill evenly, they burn off the grease and grime from cooking and they just plain old work. Some other briquettes that I've tried crumbled or cracked, but these do not do that. They will serve their purpose and last, like a good product should. The quantity in the box wasn't enough to cover my entire grill's grates, so I will be ordering more soon. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great replacement product *by A***A on June 11, 2024* Worked wonderfully ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absorb more Grease Than My Previous Briquettes *by J***Y on June 6, 2019* These briquettes were the perfect match for my Alfresco gas grill. They arrived in a plastic bag, and amazingly were not broken or crumbled. They looked very impressive, but that went away quickly when the next day after grilling chicken the night before, they were very blackened in color. I did another grill with burgers and more discoloration. So, I inverted them and heated the grill on high for twenty minutes to remove the grease residue, just like I used to for my original set. Unfortunately, I did not notice any significant improvement. I guess I will have to live with the blackened look from here on out which makes them look years old already.
