As the instructions said I've put the pillow without the outer cover in a ventilated area for it's fabrication smell to disappear, in this case was my balcony. And I've let it sit for a less recommended time because it didn't have a big smell to begin with. The second day the pillow was ready to be used, my first impression was an awe of how this pillow shaped around my head and neck, and it offered a cool sense, as if the pillow was stealing the heat and offered a really chilling, calming sensation. I didn't felt any pressure on the head or neck, the weight was evenly distributed, even my shoulders were relaxing after a hard days work.
