Is there ports for the two speakers to be plugged into?** A: There is ports for speakers but I think you may want to step up to the next model because you may want a little more power for the sound and thump you want. Not putting that amp down, its good just not strong enough. **Q: I have 2 12' DAD 400w subs will this amp ever overheat pushing them?** A: My husband said no. The amp won't overheat it it may blow your subs. He said he rarely runs his at full power. **Q: Purchase this Pyle amp never use it , pull it out today put power to it blow fuses several time . Any one have this** A: I have this amp. been going good and had it for 2 years. doesnt get hot. but i do knnow if you dont have a thick enough gauge of wire to supply current to any amp it will heat up a bit. but if that doesnt work it is possible it could be defected. I also upped my power fuse to 80 amps from 60 amps and it helped a lot. fuses on amp itself never blew for me because protective circuit would shut off amp when I push it. I push it and it just keeps goin. i would make sure its also grounded properly. make sure there is no nicks or cut in power wire and make sure there is no chance of metallic dust that would get on positive terminal to amp(depending on what type of work you do) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little amp! *by on Reviewed in the United States December 30, 2011* I bought this for my first car, and first set up. I did the install by myself, with a little help from the internet, of course (as well as installing the stereo) without really any prior knowledge. Once I got the cables all run throughout my car, it was as simple as just plugging it in and turning on my stereo. It drives my two little 600 watt 8"s just fine and with no overheating. I accidentally blew a fuse by not paying attention and reversing the 12v power and ground... hehe. The only time it overheated and kicked into protect mode was when I parked in the sun and forgot to put up my reflector (it's in the back windshield, bolted into the metal of the chassis of the back seat) and it baked in the sun all day (it's black, so it gets monster hot with direct 98 degree sun). A little AC and shade and she cooled right off.tl;dr Great amp for the price, prompt delivery, easy install even though I had no idea what I was doing.
