I drop a single drop for each nail at the root of nail, and this drop covers the entire nail instantly! it covers only your nail, it does not dribble beyond the edges of the nail it's not messy at all!! So easy to use and so effective. It dries on its own and your nails are dry within 5-7 minutes (in my estimate). Of course I didn't pick at them or anything, I just touched the surface and it seemed dry enough for me to use my hands, hold a cup, use the remote..etc without messing up my nails.
