Review: Can be an exceptionally accurate SHORT range pellet (40 yards and in) - This are VERY GOOD PELLETS FOR THE COIN, are they as consistent as JSB or H&N well of course NOT... BUT they are well made? With fairly consistent head and skirt sizes? Yes are they decently close in weight between each other? Yes and they clean? YES they coating on them will not rub off on your fingers and keep direct contact with lead down... now I'm a elite high end PCP kinda gun and 90% of my air guns are PCP but I do have a special place in my heart for a high quality and very well tuned break barrel and I'm not much of a .177 gun but I do have 3 .177 break barrels, 2 RWS and 1 BSA .177 Break barrels... and what's funny is in the two RWS guns, one tuned to 20.5ftlbs with H&N 8.66 grain 4.51mm head size FTT's and the other 26ftlbs with JSB Diabolo Exact heavies and these pellets in both those guns shoot lights out... they are the MOST accurate 40 yards and in pellets I've ever shot in those guns and I've shot just about every pellet out there through them.. Now they open up QUICKLY in both guns after 45 yards, they are capable of 10 shot groups on the .4 to .5 inch range from 10 to 40 yards, at 50 yards those half inch and under groups are now 1.5 inches and at 75 yards they are over 6 inches.. in those guns 40 yard half inch or less center to center groups in over sprung (over sprung meaning putting more powerful Springs in them) magnum power level .177 break barrels and as we all know powerful break barrels are not easy to shoot well and overall not the most accurate guns in the world... these pellets have shocked me that they shoot that we'll and like I said at 45 yards max and 40 and under being where they really shine these pellets at the cost they are become a phenomenal value.. the Super mag BSA that we tuned out and put a silly strong spring in is a powerhouse shooting these at 1090fps (just ever so slightly under super sonic and every now and then pushing one super sonic) is dang accurate with these as well and that gun only likes H&N Baracudas in the 4.50 head size, with the Baracudas it is a 5 shot group in the .75 to 1 inch range at 50 yards and that's as good as that gun will ever shot just due to the over whelming power and recoil being almost uncontrollable but fun to shoot never the less. And with this pellet shooting 5 shot groups at 35 yards it's a 1.5 inch gun AND that in amazing for this gun keep in mind 1.5 inch 5 shot groups at 35 yards for THIS gun is super good! However those groups at 50 yards are in the 10 inch range due to pellets becoming unstable... these pellets have more then proved they are a well made and very consistent "very consistent when you factor what they cost in to the equation" pellet that is exceptionally accurate in 2 magnum and 1 super magnum level .177 springers.. I really believe these are deff a pellet you should give a try as the cost is very low and the quality of the pellet is beyond the price point and likely will be accurate to very accurate... needless to say I'm very impressed with them period and when you factor what they cost in I'm beyond impressed. Just do not expect them to be much more then a 40 yards MAX pellet as they scrub energy quickly and groups open up super fast after 40 yards... I believe in a less powerful gun they may stay stable for longer and may give you a decent accuracy out to 60 ish yards in good guns... I haven't tried them in any PCP .177s, I do own a few high end .177 pcp guns, so I'll run some through them and ideas be willing to bet inside of 50 yards they will shoot very well. The reason I haven't tested them in any pcp guns yet is any of my .177 pcps will shoot them well over super sonic as they set so I'll swap some hammer Springs and lower fill pressure and get them sub sonic and see what they will do... I'll update with that info soon.. just remember this if you are in need of long range pellets these are NOT going to fill the bill for that, there calculated B.C over 40 yards ranges between depending on how each gun reshapes them 0.0125 and 0.0133 so just slightly higher then Wad cutter B.C's when good High B.C Domes are in the 0.0280 to 0.0320 B.C. range.. so yeah they are gonna really get thrower around by the wind and scrub energy and drop like a rock very quickly... with that said when if these shoot well for you then when you zero your scope at the max range these pellets hold accuracy, don't zero at 10 yards and then try to make 40 yards shots as even in powerful guns these pellets are going to be dropping quick past 25 yards... in a 15ftlb gun if you zero at 40 you will never be more then one mildot hold over or under from 10 to 40 yards... if you zero at let's say 15 yards you will be 3 mils low at 45 in a 15ftlb gun and 1.5 mils high at 25... that's to much hold over and under to deal with... when you get zero at 40 and be just plus or minus 1 Mildot over the whole 40 yards. This is a paper punching pellet OR VERY CLOSE RANGE small pest pellet like small rats or small birds being all you should shoot with this pellet and even in a fairly powerful gun at no more then 20 yards due to the massive energy loss... a 15ftlb at the muzzle gun with this pellet will be at less then 7 ft lbs at 50 yards...so a 12ftlb gun at 50 yards will have less on target power then a Crosman pump master 760 at the muzzle... keep that in mind... this pellet in a 15ftlb gun is not going to be able to put a squirrel down quickly at anything more then 15 yards at the ABSOLUTE max and that's with good shot placement. A 20ftlb gun may extend that to 20 yards with good shoot placement and remember if you made a bad shot at 20 yards with a 20 ft lb guns on a squirrel that's gonna be a slow painful ordeal from the animal... so be respectful of the animal you are pesting... and ONLY short range pesting with this pellet... it is by no means even a decent hunting pellet even tho it can be very accurate at closer ranges. Deff no shots on crows at more then 15 yards in a powerful gun and as we all know crows are NOT letting you get that close... so don't even think about it...
