**Q: Can you make thinner burgers with this press ?**
A: If you use less meat they’ll be thinner

**Q: What is the purpose of the "open" and "close" markings on the top lid?**
A: The open and closer marks indicate in which direction to turn the cap on the under side of the press. Once removed you have the smaller press cap which is used to make an indent in the burger meat. You fill the indent with cheese or whatever you like. Hope this helps.

**Q: As well as stuffed can this be used to make non stuffed burgers as well?**
A: Yes it can! You can use it to make simple patties as well as stuffed burgers.

This is such a simple but great burger maker. The ability to make burgers how you want them is great. I find pork burgers are the best. Easy to use and easy to clean

Handy little gadget which works well. It's made of strong plastic, which is better than dealing with aluminium and non-stick chemicals. A couple of points though: the base is ribbed to give that 'burger' look but the top is not ribbed, so the effect is only on one side. The papers provided with the press are bigger than the press so have to be 'crumpled' into place. Perhaps this is intentional but I will try and find better fitting papers when the time comes to re-stock. Finally, the little rubber feet just fall out as soon as you try to wash the press. I recovered three, but one sadly disappeared down the drain before i could catch it.
