You only need to hook up your pickups and mount the hardware. I had an issue with the switch, but I can say it was very easy to remedy after I found it. The solder tabs on the switch are riveted on. I had a contact issue at this point. But all I did was solder the the tabs to the board, it was very easy. I recommend doing this before you install them so you doubt have to go back in after assembly. Other than that this setup works great. And the price was wonderful. The switch is very firm. So you don’t have to worry about bumping it and losing your pickup selection. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked fine *by R***4 on October 14, 2024* I put this in a project guitar (Silvertone Strat Copy) and it worked fine. I would give it 5 stars, but it doesn't come with a diagram at all to let you know which direction to install the switch or which volume/tone pots are for what. I had to study the one that came out of the guitar to figure it out.
