The 8ft round is sturdy, heavy, durable, true to color, and does not fray to this day. The edge does not lift up when I accidentally kick it, as it is a heavy rug. Great for my allergies.I therefore decided to buy two hallway runners (2ft3in by 7ft3in). (I would have went with home creepo since it was cheaper on their website. However, they mislabeled their product page as 2ft9in by 7ft3in. I called customer service at tayse and at home creepo to confirm, and the latter said that was what their computer database info from tayse had given them, even when tayse customer service verbally told me otherwise. For peace of mind, I decided to go with amazon regarding correct width size. This runner is in fact 2ft3in in width, per tayse customer service and my measurement.)Back to rating the product: I ordered two of these for my hallway. my wife likes how it is plush when compared to the thinner-feeling 5ft3in by 7ft3in rectangular version (which i ordered concurrently through home creepo), but not as heavy/plush as my 8ft round tayse. One hallway-runner arrived with a moderate sized fray on the side. I didnt bother to return it and just cut the frayed strand with a scissor. It still frays a little in that area but it doesnt bother me. Like another reviewer stated, these floor runners slide on hard surfaces, so you NEED rug pad holders to keep them in place. With the rug pad holders, they seem stay in place even when vacuuming over them (although the edges may lift up with vaccuming, they wont slide away when using the rug pad holders). Quality rug pad holders over cheaper ones make a difference.The color of these floor runners is true to the picture. The color is consistent throughout. {Unfortunately, my 5ft3in by 7ft3in rectangular version from home creepo has VERY NOTICABLE INCONSISTENT DISCOLORATION. For example, some brown areas are darker than other brown areas. And no, it is not because of the angle or intensity of my light source. It is because of the rug itself. My original 8ft round tayse has slightly inconsistent discoloration but hardly noticeable} I'm not sure what to think about Tayse rugs overall--ive had a mixed bag of opinions, but these 2ft3in by 7ft3in hallway runners are plush and do what I expected them to do.{5 stars for my 8footer, 4 stars for my hallway runners and 3 stars for my 5x7 rectangular} ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Universal Rug Navy *by K***N on March 8, 2017* I'm thrilled with the colors and texture of this rug for this price. Very true to on-screen appearance; navy, crimson, cream, light brown, accent of olive green with a clear detail of design. It vacuums well and I haven't noticed any significant fiber loss. Too soon to tell if it is colorfast (haven't shampooed it yet) and too soon to tell if it will or won't fade in sunlight (only gets 1 hour of direct sun daily in my dining room). Feels soft under foot without a pad, the weave on the backside hasn't marred the laminate floor beneath, the rug hasn't stretched anywhere under the weight of the table or by movement of chairs. I don't know the point count (density of fibers) and was concerned as the rug is somewhat light and the fibers are cut short, but it isn't easy to dig a finger into the rug and reveal the backing--so I believe it is more than sufficient and will wear well over time. I am pleased with this purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's a blue boarder, not black. *by L***S on January 27, 2016* It is a nice rug, fits great under my table and chairs. My only complaint is on my computer the outer boarder looks black, but it is definitely a dark blue, I would have preferred black but costs too much to return.
