## Overview

The Winmau Blade 4 Bristle Dartboard is a professional-grade, regulation-size 18" dartboard featuring innovative dual-core compression technology that enhances dart penetration and board longevity. Its pioneering staple-free wiring and 50% thinner Dynamic Sector Wire drastically reduce bounce-outs, while vibrant high-visibility colors improve aiming accuracy. Designed for serious players, it includes a Rota Lock system for stable mounting, making it the top choice for both competitive and home use.

## Description

The Blade Champions Choice Dual Core dartboard is the ultimate professional level training dartboard. The doubles, trebles, 25 and bull's-eye are all 50% thinner than on a standard Blade 4, and each scoring segment features high visibility colors to facilitate accuracy. This dartboard includes fourth generation Blade wiring, and the Dual Core technology achieves lower compression at the outer core which reduces surface resistance and increases point penetration for fewer lost darts and higher scores. Higher compression at the inner core increases resistance below the surface, absorbing excess kinetic energy for improved durability. The pure sisal outer core has an uncompromised playing surface for perfect vision, increased scoring potential and easier alignment.

Review: Simply the best Pro Level sisal Dartboard ever made. - Simply the best professional level sisal dartboard available today. I needed to replace the boards in our dart area, and since we needed several boards, I decided to use the opportunity to really find out which one of the top contenders was the best. We ordered a Bull's Advantage II, a Puma Bandit, a 180 Gladiator II, a Unicorn Eclipse Pro, a Nodor Suprawire Pro, and the Winmau Blade 4 Dual Core with Rota Lock. While all of these boards are great and have their pros and cons to them. The only board in my opinion that earned 10 out of 10 across the scale was the Winmau Blade 4 Dual Core. It is in a class all by itself as it has all pros, and no cons. The spider is thinner and more secured to the board than all the rest. The colors are bright, vibrant, and tough. The dual core sisal from Kenya catches and holds the darts noticeabley better than the rest. It heals itself without leaving visible holes that disappear after a few minutes. the sisal doesn't pull out when your dart is extracted, there are no sisal bunch lines visible in the white beds, bounce outs are virtually eliminated, it can be leveled and locked into place with no wiggle or wobble utilizing the Rota Lock system on the back, it is simply the best of the bunch, and the finest board I have ever owned. Until someone out there invents something better (I don't see how), I will never buy anything other than the Blade 4 Dual Cores in the future. For those interested, my second choice would be the 180 Gladiator II. My third would be a srandard Winmau Blade 4. Unicorn boards, while used on the tele for most tournaments. It is only because they pay obscene endorsement fees for the privilege, nit because they're the best. Unicorn boards while aesthetically pleasing to the eye, are made in China, and simply not all their made out to be. The Bandit by Puma is an outstanding board and my only real complaints with them are the eed and black bull's eye, the type of sisal they use, and the fact that the spiders seem to start lifting off the board after a month or two of heavy playing. Bull's Advantage II, take a while to break in and until then have a lot of bounce outs. Their bull's eye wires are also thick and bunched up around the outside ring, and have a problem with the spider lifting up as well. Nodor makes a fine board and they always have. The spider and wires are the big complaint with their boards, as well as the inks used on some of the models. The Winmau Blade 4 Dual Core is in my opinion as good as a dartboard can get. I can't think of anything they could do to make it better than it is. if your someone who is really into your dart game, and wants the best, or you just want a personal home use board that looks great and will last you for years and years. Look no further than the Winmau Blade 4 Dual Core.
Review: Very satisfied customer! - Great board. Disclaimer: I'm somewhat new to darts. I can't throw ton-80s or anything, but I play pretty often, sometimes with folks that are really good. Overall, this Winmau is better than most I've seen/used before. Feels solid, doesn't have any cracks on the face, just great looking overall. Couple things I really like: 1) The metal spider is especially thin on this board, which reduces a lot of bounce outs. Definitely nice to have. 2) It comes with 3 little stabilizers (I call them "wheels") in the back that you can screw in/out to keep it stable against a backboard or wall so it doesn't shake or move. Overall I really like this board. I try and play for an hour per day, or at least every other day. So far, I'm seeing little/no damage to the board. I hung this board up in the basement with relative ease, by myself. So really easy to set up. Great choice for beginners and veterans alike.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Board I Have Played On and Worth the Small Price Premium over the Model 500-11
*by M***N on July 20, 2015*

This dart board ticks all the boxes. Nice heft and mass, the 3 adjustable "feet" that not only true the board to vertical, but also prevent the board from moving when the darts hit. The lower density top layer of Sisal fibers will capture a dart with a weaker impact force and the higher than normal density of the back (deeper) layer of Sisal fibers will prevent a hard thrown dart from crushing the ends of the outer layer of fibers. The super thin cross section of the wires and the lack of staples means fewer bounce-outs. This board is worth the price premium vs the model 500-11. It includes the mounting hardware and works well with the Winmau high density foam surround, protecting the wall and greatly minimizing off the board bounce-out. This is a solid well engineered product. (from an engineer in his 35th year of practice). Well done lads and lassies.
