I bought this eye shield, following my dog having eye surgery to correct Cherry eye, in both her eyes. She has to wear an e-collar, which has been dreadful. I was hoping this would be a welcomed relief for the both of us. The eye shield in the picture, in not the same as what was sent. I don't know why they changed the design... the one puctured, has a plastic strip (bridge) that sits across the bridge of the nose... this one is missing that plastic bridge, so the plastic that covers the eyes, cuts into the skin, on the bridge of the nose. The plastic bridge, also looks like it holds the mask in place, but without it, the mask sits too close to my dogs eyes, so she's squinting to protect her eyes from touching the plastic. You need to secure the head straps tight enough, so that your dog doesn't paw off the shield; but in doing so, the mask sits too close to the dog's eyes.Unfortunately, I had to return this mask. My legs were hoping for relief, from my dog constantly walking into them with the e-collar... but I guess it's the "old tried and true."
