I ordered an XL and it fit perfectly. I have a wonder hip area and this is a dress was able to cover my butt while we were at a boat side restaurant. I loved the drawstring sides. It allowed me to pull the sides up. I am giving this a 4 star because the breast seam was too high on my chest and there were no cups. I am a 38DD and the seam that is suppose to sit under your bust was mid-way on my chest. Otherwise, this looked super cute and made sure I didn't turn into a lobster. I wear a 16/18 top (36DD) and this is snug (I do wear a bra under my swim shirts for support and modesty) at the chest, but it is very flattering to my middle aged middle (bit of a menopot going on). The sleeves are not too snug either. The stitching is overlock on all the seams and trim. The strings used to adjust the sides of the top/dress are stout enough to move the garment up and down without snapping or fraying. Can't believe the quality for the price!
