TUSITASilicone Case Compatible with Garmin GPSMAP 66s 66st 66sr 67

It’s a perfect fit for the Garmin GPSMAP 67i. Has a great lip over screen offering better protection from a drop. I did add a glass screen protector. I wanted to address a few negative reviews about overheating with this on. I contacted Garmin directly and they stated it should not overheat because of a cover as this one. The unit itself does not generate any heat unless something is wrong internally with GPS. Back is 80% open so if you had any heat issues it would dissipate here. I’m sure if you left in direct sunlight it might overheat but it’s not because of this cover. The other key plus about this case is antenna is uncovered, which is one thing Garmin told me to make sure that it wasn’t so SOS and satellite text could be sent and received. So all in all this is a great cover to help protect your $$$ investment. I will add that on my Garmin Montana 650, I had it in a Gizzmocase in the 100 degree desert and never had an over heating issue.

Garmin 66SR costs around 500 bucks. If you drop it on its face it will get scratched. But this case protects it with the rubber thickness. I wish it was a bit tighter. It does feel a little loose. But if it was too tight the drop might effect the unit and give damage. The GPS just costs too Damn much not to put a case on it. This I found on Amazon and it fits the bill

Garmin GPSMAP 66 i and sr models have non-removable Li-Ion batteries and have gold plated external charging contacts on the bottom of the GPS that mate up with those in optional Garmin Powered Mount cradles for those specific units (they can also be charged via their USB port).This case has a cutout where the charging contacts are located, but the bulk of the case prohibits use of Garmin cradle type chargers with the case on. Fortunately it is extremely ease to remove and reinstall this case to be able to charge that way if you want (saves wear and tear on the fragile MicroUSB port on the 66i/sr).The bottom cutout in this case is really located to allow access to the lanyard attachment lug on the GPSMAP 66 models that use removable AA batteries (to keep your GPS somewhere nearby when you break a handlebar mount, the probability of which happening increases in proportion to the amount of fun you are having).The bottom lanyard attachment lug on th eGPSMAP 66 i/sr models is in a slightly different place, and this case covers it up, but a safety lanyard can still be attached, it just doesn't look quite right/pretty, but it works.Overall these cases are GREAT and I have various models on several Garmins, with no reservations whatsoever with other model/case combinations. The bottom hole location should NOT be a deal breaker for most GPSMAP 66i/sr owners, just clarifying a minor point.

Fit perfect and keeps me from banging up my gps.

This fairly thin silicone case should help protect my Garmin from the inevitable bumps and bruises that my GPS will experience during its life.
