I recently ordered a 11SP clamp and here are the measurements I made off it: The clamping pad surfaces open to a maximum distance of about 4.5" and when "clamped" tight they'd be clamping something about 3.75" thick. The inside "depth" of the "C" (i.e., from the clamping pads to the backside of the clamp's yoke) is about 2.5"; and the closed-clamp, inside height of the "C" is 3.75". Hope this helps.
