We bought these for our Yorkie. The pads are much thinner than others that we have used before. Because of this, the liquid spreads a little more. The thicker pads absorbed the liquid and contained it in a smaller area. The pads are actually manufactured by Dynarex. We had previously use pads made by Kendall or Chux, but they did cost more per pad. Overall, we are satisfied with the pads.The trick is to make sure the dog knows which end goes over the pad. We also set the pads in 18" x 24" baking sheets that have a lip around the edge. That usually contains the spills. Found those at Smart and Final. Similar to Amazon's:  Amco Food Service Full Sheet Pan ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Product for Protection Under Cat Boxes! *by M***N on Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2016* We have 6 cats, and have used these pads under, in front of, and around our cat boxes for several years to prevent the accidents that can happen when you have a 'high-sprayer' and a Booda Dome cat box. They have never failed us. As long as we give the pad time to absorb the liquid, we can simply fold in the edges, pick it up, and toss it into the trash. The pads in front of the boxes even do a halfway decent job of catching the cat litter that gets trailed out of the box (as well as the occasional stink bomb dropped by our kitty, Sherman, who occasionally misses the box altogether, and hangs his bum outside of the opening in the dome.) All-in-all, these pads work wonderfully for our needs.I did NOT receive these pads at any kind of a discount; I have been paying full bloody price for them since 2009 and I *still* give them five stars! I highly recommend them for any cat owner who has litter box spillage issues! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pee Pads *by M***M on Reviewed in the United States on October 18, 2008* My elderly cat sometimes hangs her butt too close to the edge in the litter tray to pee, and these pads work just fine at catching the urine that goes over the side, and containing it. While they are not as thick as some I purchased at PetCo, for the price they do a great job.
