Review: The best money can buy...just not from scdesertcart - A truly fantastic car battery, still. I'm on my third unit in my Land Rover, the previous one lasted nearly 9 years including 5 of them sitting in a parked vehicle all winter (freezing temps) with no charger/maintainer. I'm hard on it too, running onboard air, fridge, lights, water pump, and several other pieces of camping equipment when out in the back country. Sadly, desertcart refuses to ship with anything other than their completely incompetent self-delivery service, which lost SIX of them somehow while out for delivery. After the SIXTH lost battery desertcart refused to send any more, and despite thousands in damages they've caused, have refused to do anything about it. Do yourself a favor and buy direct from Odyssey. It'll arrive on time if not early and even cost a little less.

**Q: How many hours can you use this battery off of one charge?**
A: your question depends on what you are expecting to power? in my experience with the same battery I have been able to run a camper based load of a furnace fan on and off in fall season temps, on and off camper lights as needed and a as needed water pump for 14 days without issue, in fact when I returned home last camp trip the battery still had 1/3 charge..... I was amazed... expect any additional power requirements will drain it faster but it is an awesome battery for al deep draw uses... keep in mind a special charger is needed to maintain and charge this type of battery, it is expensive and necessary otherwise your battery life and usefulness is wasted, research odyssey 50 amp charger for this app.

A: December 2017.

**Q: Does Amazon or Odyssey process the warranty claim? Is there return shipping cost for warranty claim?**
A: Amazon processed mine.

**Q: What is the discharge time period for the 100AH rating?**
A: A 100 Amp Hour rating means the battery is designed to deliver 100 amps for an hour, or any multiple of that ratio: e.g. 50 amps for 2 hours, 25amps for 4 hours, 1 amp for 100 hours. There's more to the discharge than the simple numbers such as true amperage, battery temperature, current charge, age, damage, and sulfonation. I've used these batteries and the were marginal at holding a charge. So much so that I replaced it with the Sears version, which worked well but now is not possible. One thing for sure, their customer service was excellent.

I purchased two of these batteries for use in my alternate power supply (APS) which creates 110VAC when the power fails. They replaced a pair of Odyssey batteries (same model) that were 12 years old and working flawlessly. The batteries arrived very well packaged and required only vaccuming to remove some of the styrofoam packing bits. The batteries are AGM and do not leak if tipped and the poles do not occidize, even after 12 years of continuous use! They are amazing!
