Caswell-Massey Centuries Lavender Eau De Toilette Perfume Travel Spray, Scents Of Lavender & Bergamot, Fragrance For Women, Made In The USA, 15 mL

Wanted to get a scent that would layer on top of the Hempz fragrance "Sandalwood and Apple" body series. I had one of the Sandlewood scents from them back in the 70's, and the talc, and I always got compliments on it. Caswell Massey now has 3 Sandalwood fragrances, and a lot of the reviews say something has changed. I thought to try a small bottle of this particular one, saying that "this was the finest Sandalwood fragrance they made". Sorry, no it is not. The old one I used to wear was subtle, delicate and fragrant in a demure way that drew a person in to thle person wearing the scent. This is like a tin hammer of a fregrance. Thank God it's only a small bottle. I will quickly use it up as room spray and chalk it up to "lesson learned".

When I received this, I was so disappointed by the Gardenia scent. I had bought this scent for years from Caswell-Massey and loved it. This new version of Gardenia was so weak that it was as if there was no scent at all! I complained to the seller and they were very kind to replace it. However, the replacement is just as disappointing as the initial order. I am giving this perfume spray an extra star only because the customer service was excellent. However, I won't be buying this product again.

I still own an original bottle of the vintage Gardenia, and this new scent is NOTHING like it!!! even that 20 year old vintage bottle smells sooo much better than the new stuff. where'd they go wrong? the soap is still amazing!? why couldnt they keep the same fragrance, and make it worse than the original?Very disappointed.

Like many, I used gardenia for many years from Caswell Massey. The new scent is terrible. Smells like cheap, old lady perfume! My teen asked me to wash it off!😬 I'll be sending this back. Waited for years and even emailed the company to bring back the original.

I love the aroma of almonds at first but then it seems to disappear to totally musk which is okay but I wanted almonds.

This product is amazing. Light scent. Smells fresh and clean. Perfect for someone as a gift or for yourself. This is a nice to go size. Just what I expected from a great brand like Caswell and Massey

I bought this for my mother’s birthday because she loves the scent of lilac. I had high hopes, but the scent (although fresh and floral) did not smell much like lilacs. It was also very weak and did not stay on long. I give it a 3 because it isn’t bad, it’s just not particularly good either... just meh.

Product delivered at time stated, perfect condition. In my opinion this company makes the very best sandalwood scented bar soap, shower gel, colognes etc. I love them. A plus for me is a husband who says most perfumes smell like bug spray to him loves these!
