Hidcote is a bushy dwarf evergreen shrub with narrow, silvery-grey leaves and small deep violet-purple flowers in dense, aromatic spikes 3-4cm in length. Lavandula angustifolia 'Hidcote' is the most floriferous of the compact lavenders, with purple-blue flowers. Incredibly reliable. Lavenders are the perfect plants. Lavender 'Hidcote' looks good all year, has incredible scent, which lasts when dried and is rich in pollen and nectar for much of summer so the bees and butterflies love it. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are the 6 lavenders the same as the picture what height roughly are they.**
A: About 12 inches high, however I've been trying for 4 years to get a good show of lavender,  brought in many different formats, sad to say they dont do well. My soil is mostly compost from years if adding to it and is in very good condition but yet it dont get the flowers, they turn woody very quickly and take up space for little return in a small garden

**Q: Would these be a good indoor plants?**
A: Not really.
