Most outdoor heaters require propane tanks and propane tanks are not easy to acquire or refill when you rely on public transportation. I was hoping this Infrared Heater would extend the use of my outdoor space into the fall/winter, however that has not been the case. I received this very big box that required me to put some parts together. Assembly wasn't terrible, but more than I had anticipated. I put everything together, moved it outside to my 18x5 balcony and turned it on. After several minutes I checked to see how much of the balcony was warmed and was SERIOUSLY disappointed.
