A: No as the bobbin part has spring loaded parts but a quality product

**Q: Csn you use them for distance fishing**
A: Yes of course,  by far the best bobbins I've used. Wouldn't use any others now.

**Q: What size is the thread on the end is it m5 or m6**
A: Dont know but they are nice indicators i use my regulary

**Q: how do you replace the ball bearings if needed, looks very dificult.**
A: Each come with a spare spring and Allen key. Simply remove grub screw to remove spring and bearing. Don't see why you'd need to change bearing? The spare spring I believe is stronger to give better line retention?
