Update: This bottle was almost impossible to clean. Finally after over a week of washing it, soaking the inside with Baking Soda, and letting it sit with Dish Detergent overnight the smell and taste is gone. You can buy similar bottles to this one for about 5 dollars more that already have the taste and smell leeched out of them before they are delivered. In my opinion that is the way to go.This bottle arrived yesterday. I cleaned it out good with a bottle brush and detergent. Put refrigerated water in it and closed the bottle. When I went to drink the water I almost gagged from the metallic taste the water had taken on. Re Cleaned the inside of the bottle and tried again. Same result. I then filled half the bottle with baking soda. Let it sit overnight and then filled the bottle with baking soda still in up with water. Let that sit for a couple of hours. Dumped it out and re cleaned the inside of the bottle with a brush. That took care of the metallic smell and taste. Aside from that major problem the Bottle is made well and keeps hot and cold liquids cold and hot. I would have given it 5 stars if the initial cleaning was not so difficult.

Awesome, bought 11 of these in different colors for Christmas gifts for my LPN's who work with me, they love them. A lot of the time we work long shifts and cannot leave to get drinks so these keep what we bring hot or cold... And they really do!!!

These water bottles are amazing! I have bought 3 of them and have told all of my friends and got them to buy them too! I brought it to a family get together and literally my entire family wanted one after I explained how good it worked. Most of them (the ones with prime accounts) went on a purchased them right away! There is a downfall that some of these have little paint chips or little dents. I only got 1 that wasn't chipped at all, so I ended up giving that one as a gift because it was the only one I felt was suitable.I like my water ice cold and even though I bring ice with me to work, by noon it's melted and I end up not drinking enough water throughout the day. Additionally, my cups would sweat and the condensation would eventually get on my papers on the desk or all over my bag. Nothing is worse than finding a much needed paper in my bag with smeared ink from my water bottle sweat. So, I purchased this bottle hoping to solve those issues. This bottle is incredible! I filled it this morning with ice at 8 AM and now, at 8:30 PM, less than half the ice has melted, even with adding water all day long. I am so impressed. And even though it is filled with ice cold water, there is no condensation and the bottle is warm to the touch. It's a little heavy to be lifting, full of water, but I figure it will just bulk up my arm muscles! I highly recommend this bottle to anyone and will be buying more as gifts in the near future.I just wish they would restock the pick, it was a very pretty color!

When I opened the package, I was happy to see what looked like an excellent quality bottle. So I proceeded to open the stopper and look inside. I was surprised to find some sort of blue-green corrosion inside the bottle and some on the outside around the threads of the bottle. I grabbed an old sanding sponge and used it to clean of the "crud" from the outside, thread area. It seemed to work. So I cut off about a 3/4 inch section from the sanding sponge and used it on the inside of the mouth of the bottle. It was tougher and had to also use a knife to scrape some the "crud" off. I finally got 90% of the "crud" off and the bottle was usable, except for one thing.The "crud" is probably flux residue from welding the stainless steel together. The problem is when the stopper was put into the bottle at the factory, the "crud" cut small areas of the stopper gasket rubber. This made it so that it is no longer pressure proof, and may not be completely watertight when the bottle is turned upside down.Bottom line: It isn't as good of a deal as I expected. I ended up spending more time than I should have to make it somewhat usable.

This will keep water ice cold all day while sitting inside my car in Florida summer heat! Better than a YETI! I typically fill it half way with ice and the rest with water. I leave it in the cup hold of my car and have a very refreshing bottle of water for my ride home after work. I'm very impressed with how well this retains the ice cold temp of my water! It's also very water tight. You can lay this on the seat or the floorboard of your car and never have it leak a single drop. Definitely was a worthwhile purchase!

Worked great for about 6 Months then just stopped keeping things cold. Was not dropped or put in fridge or dishwasher. Even tried using different lids from other bottles, too bad, liked this one

Great bottle!I live in Florida and I use these for water to keep in my car when I'm at an account.The temp in my car in the Florida heat probably reaches somewhere between 180-200 degrees F.This bottle keeps my water COLD!!!! It is truly amazing. I have bought 3 of them now.And, they do not sweat, or smell. I do not understand some of these negative reviews. I have nothing bad to say.

I needed a new water bottle, but wanted one that would keep my water cold. This bottle has a stainless steel interior. It will keep my water cold all day long. I love the colors it comes in. I got the lime green color. It also cleans up very nicely. It is also good and sturdy, easy to hold. I also appreciate the fact that I will not have a puddle of water where I place my bottle.

If you leave water overnight, it has a distinctive taste, most likely from the stainless steel. But it does what it says- keep water cold/hot for hours.EDIT**: After using the bottle for a couple of months, noticed the water had a rusty taste. Examined inside and found that rust had started to form at the bottom of the bottle. Will be throwing away and purchasing from a different company.

Purchased this bottle because every news article I read on water bottles says stainless steel is the way to go in terms of least likely to have significant bacteria. I can say, this bottle is amazing! it is light, and looks very nice.One thing I would have to say about this bottle is that it is not very easy to grip. The bottle is very smooth and I think if you had gloves on or something it could be hart to hold on to.First night with it I decided I would test how long it could keep water hot for, I ran the tap as hot as it would get and filled the bottle up and left it over night. In the morning, to my surprise, the water was still warm/hot! Very impressed especially considering the price. Similar bottles at Chapters run about $50, so I de no reason not to get this one instead. It is definitely not a downgrade in quality to the more expensive ones!

Awesome bottles.They do exactly what they claim, keep drinks ice cold or piping hot.I find the keep cold better than hot but my coffee stays warm for at least 5-6hrs.Cold for a solid 12.I've since purchased 2 more and they'r holding up well except for the one that my husband takes to work. The outter paint had began to chip (mind you it's not treated lightly...) so I'd say they are super durable but hold up perfectly for typical day to day use.

Aesthetically speaking, this water bottle is built very beautifully and elegantly. I continuously get compliments about how nice the water bottle looks.Getting into the technical details, it is built very firmly and sturdily. At the same time, it doesn't take much space. The cap is completely air-tight and I haven't encountered any spills. I've only tried using it for keeping water cool and it manages to do that very well. The bottle kept water cold for at least 8 hours by which point I had finished it, so it probably can keep water cool for longer periods as well.The only issue is that I wish that it could hold a little more volume, but that's nothing to take away stars for.

The first year, it was perfect. Kept my water cold for up to 10 hours, which was great since I spent a lot of time away from home each day. After that though, it started having some problems. For one, the seal on the lid started getting a few mold spots that could not be cleaned away. To get them off, I had to try and pick them away which at first was fine, but then it gradually started to leak slowly into my bags when tipped over. By the end of the two years I used it, the bottom had a rust mark that had broken the vacuum sealed thermos layer, and it began to leak into the layer of insulation.Overall, it was okay. It lasted 2 years for me, but I also dealt with things most people would stop using it over after just 1 year. Not complaining though, it didn't cost me much. I definitely will be looking for something with a bit more longevity though after this.
