**Q: Ate these lights water proof?**
A: No. They are not slash proof. They have electrical connection points on the back that if they get wet they will corrode and wreck light module and fixture.

**Q: Can this be used independent of a track light fixture?**

I can’t figure out why these don’t fit in my light. According to everyrhing on the light and this listing they are the correct lights. It costs about half what i paid to return them so i guess I’m screwed

You will be paying for each individual light at 9.98, not a two pack of lights for 9.98. so what I thought would be about $25 is actually about $45. beware of pricing!
