Review: Tips on installing this - Hi! I am not a plumber, but I learned a few things about installing this unit that I would pass along so that only one us us suffers the learning curve. This was a replacement in a Crane Bigfoot toilet. The combination works well together. So onto installation tips. (I kept having leaking issues, so I did this several times.) First, the handle control unit is extremely difficult to mount if you've already screwed the main unit to the tank. My suggestion is to line up the main unit with the tank opening, maybe even engaging a thread or two. But while the main unit is loose in the tank, put in the handle control unit and screw it down. Next, my leak issues. For all the world, it looked like this unit was leaking at the water input. But all of those fittings are pressure gasketed. (I had extra to deal with as I have a bidet seat. Highly recommended.) Yet there was water dripping down the lines, so what gives? It turns out that because this is a pressurized system, you have water leaking from the water feed to the bowl upon the flush! The first source was easy to find. I did not tighten down the tank mount bolts very much. When I took them off, they were little more than finger tight. No, tighten them with a wrench, but be gentle. The second leak was much more frustrating, but the answer is that you need to tighten the water intake port with a wrench as well. It also was finger tight, and common sense tells you that the hose connection is gasketed, and should not be leaking. ( I bought a new intake hose to prove it.) But apparently, this unit generates enough pressure that the bowl cannot accept all of the water at once, and so the excess goes into the bottom of the tank for a brief period, and then exits. Again, be gentle, but firmly wrench the nut on the intake, drawing the gasket into the hole. The unit now functions fine. I don't like tightening nuts on porcelain if I don't have to, but save yourself some grief here. Oh, and a plumber quoted me somewhere between $350 and $500 for this repair, so do it yourself!
Review: EcoFlush - Yes this part worked perfectly! Our toilet is working great! I would totally recommend this to anyone who has the same toilet. Installation was ok and it fit perfectly.

Yes this part worked perfectly! Our toilet is working great! I would totally recommend this to anyone who has the same toilet. Installation was ok and it fit perfectly.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great replacement.
*by A***R on July 9, 2025*

I bought this unit in February of 2025 to replace an older vessel. I initially installed without the proper gasket which led to a partially flooded bathroom. No worries, I just went to home depot to buy a universal-type gasket and that did the trick. The unit is working fine after several months and I will buy another to replace my second bathroom.
