There is an integral strap that makes carrying easy. Sound quality is reasonable given the price point but its just much more quiet than I would have hoped for a speaker of its size. We have a small city garden and bought it for the kids to dance to and it doesn't really 'fill' the space at all and I suspect that it would not be great at something more social for older kids/adults.
