## Description

Shoot for the stars with the Viper Astro Soft Tip Darts, designed for use with either electronic dart boards or most sisal dart boards. These darts are packed with features starting with the barrel, fashioned from 80% Tungsten and 20% Nickel. Tungsten is a very dense metal, able to create slimmer darts with the same weight as lighter metals; this allows for tighter shot groupings without sacrificing control, increasing your scores. Tungsten is a sign of quality and durability as well because of its density. A higher tungsten content will produce a slimmer dart profile than one with less. More tungsten in the dart increases the price as tungsten is a rare metal and its density takes more effort to machine. The increased price gives a higher quality barrel and can improve performance, increasing scores. Each barrel enjoys knurled bands complimented by diamond-cut etchings, allowing your grip to remain consistent throw after throw. The Astro Darts feature tough, lightweight Aluminum Shafts with diamond cut etchings for a wild look. These shafts feature locking holes that allow a more secure fit to your barrel; you won’t find yourself retightening these shafts after a shot or two. Finally, each dart is finished off with spectacular holographic star graphics graphics adorning each slim flight, for a stellar look. Each set includes six high speed slim flights, three extra nylon shafts, twelve 2BA Tufflex II Tips, dart mechanic repair tool, and EVA dart case.

Bought two sets of Viper Jaguar (older style/all black with rubberized grip) darts. The grip wore off too quickly. Found these Viper Astro darts and I really like the grippiness of the barrels. The metal machining also seems to be of good quality. No more black rubber to wear off! I have used these darts for over a year and they are still going strong. I do not throw regularly outside of winter league. If you throw regularly year-round, that could wear them down quicker. I also changed the shaft to something more durable, so I cannot speak to how long that lasts. If you need some grip and do not mind the skinnier barrels, I recommend trying these out.

Darts our my husband and I's new obsession and for the price the quality is great. They do get loose once in awhile but it comes with a tool to tighten them which is super is to do The case makes it easy to travel from bar to bar with them or in our case house to house as we play a lot with family
