It does a good job cutting the vinyl, but the vinyl planks do not fit to the angle guide very well. Since laminate is thicker, the angle guide should work fine. **Q: Could this be used to cut .197-inch thick resilient vinyl plank flooring?** A: We used the cutter on .450-inch wood laminate flooring. So far we have no experience with resilient vinyl plank flooring. We are happy with the job it did on ours. **Q: Will it cut LVT** A: Good day, This cutter is designed to cut laminate planks up to 8" wide and 10mm thick.
