For me, it's a great alternative to buying/renting a tiller. I have Poulan Pro P335 (33cc) and it has ample power for this attachment. I'm sure a lower power head would still work great. Be aware that I have quite sandy soil so tilling is much easier. A more clay based soil would be much more challenging. Tilling heavier soil would be more a factor of your strength and stamina than your power head. Keep in mind that the weight of this unit is still quite light and requires a lot more physical strength for deep tilling.
