I wasn't really sure what a brush was. I had been buying the cheap harbor freight grinders but they would fail (maybe it was only the brushes?). My last angle grinder was a Dewalt. It worked great until last week when it died while sharpening a lawn mower blade. I almost threw it in the trash but felt I would try changing the brushes. Once I got inside the machine, the internals made sense to me as well as the brushes getting worn down. It was not difficult to change because I had already watched a couple of youtube videos. Without those videos it probably would have taken much longer. To my surprise and delight, it fired right up after I put it back together. I'll probably get another 5 years out of it.
