And we are on the East Coast and Ohanyan's on the West Coast, so it had a very long trip in the USMail. Yet, given that Basterma was developed in the Old Country as a way to preserve meat, and the vacuum-sealed pack was still intact, I just threw it in the fridge. We had no health issues associated with its consumption. We will definitely buy this again and again, as their is no Armenian or Middle-Eastern market within 60-minute each way driving distance from our home, moreover, this is the best we've had in decades, AND IT IS SLICED. It doesn't get better than this.
