The car door wouldn't shut anymore, and my car was well past it's yearly inspection date. To pass inspection, the door needed to close. I NEEDED to buy this part, and install it for as cheap as possible, because this was a financially difficult time for me.I searched the internet, high and low, for the cheapest compatible Volkswagen door lock actuator. I was very hesitant, and unsure when purchasing this part. I never buy anything less then OEM, and at that time, as I said before, I was broke. I could not afford the price of the original OEM part, nor the labor to have it installed.When I received the part, and began installation, I was expecting there to be a multitude of issues, especially incompatibility. I finished the installation in a day. To my surprise, everything fit perfect. There were no compatibility issues, keyless entry issues, locking/unlocking issues, etc. I was baffled. I spent $45.29 total. No labor.It's been a year since I bought, and installed this part. It still works perfect.
