True to size and durable. Fits perfect over a suitcase handle and makes it easy to get around. Review: Ultra-Plush, Super-Functional and All-Around Superior Carrier! - We purchased this to transport our kitten when she was to be spayed. When we arrived for her appointment there were numerous other cats in carriers awaiting surgery. And, although we weren't trying to have the absolute best carrier, we clearly did 😍! This carrier put the hard, plastic carriers to shame 🤫. It's attractive design, and soft plushy interior, sent the unintended silent message that our kitten was the most loved 💗. The thoughtful inclusion of three zippered doors, the removable, but super-soft floor (that unzips for washing), the well-made, wide, handles (complete with Velcro) and strap, the 4 bottom hard plastic feet and the high-quality zippers and toggles, address every detail you are looking for in a carrier. I'm picturing my cat getting "rolled up" in it as I'm carrying it. Thanks!** A: I own one and my cat is pretty large and fluffy! The bottom stays straight and my cat goes in it even when she doesn’t have to! **Q: Does the small carrier fit under the seat on the airplane?** A: Description from the listing is clear: 1. Do not place the large pet carrier under an airplane seat: only suitable for daily travel, car seat journey and pet hospital etc. 2. Do not take the cat carrier on the Southwest Airlines or Alaska Airlines: our pet carrier is 10.5 inches high(medium size), which is out of the Airlines maximum height (8.5 inches) **Q: My cat peed in the carrier and now it smells awful. Has anyone ever washed the entire carrier in the washing machine? Thank you.** A: I know you asked a long time ago but for anyone else looking at answers, yes. I put a plusher bed on top of what comes with it. When my kitty peed in it it was on that washable plusher bed. However...I removed the wood and foam from the zippered bottom that comes with it and put the whole carrier and the bed cover in the washer, not a front load, washed it on delicate with normal detergent plus lysol sanitizer laundry additive and then dried it all on air dry. It smells like new and came out fully intact no damage. So I would recommend a puppy pad or something as a top layer for your pet to be on in case of accidents but yes you can wash the whole thing and dry on delicate. **Q: will this fit a cat that is 20 inches long?** A: Yes. Most cats can "compact" themselves, or curl up. Mine fits in nicely and she likes it. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dog Carrier *by A***R on September 29, 2026* Our dog has plenty of space to stand, lay down and turn around as needed. My fear that she would hate it and fight going in it was unfounded because she never struggled being placed in it and seemed instantly comfortable once inside of it. When we arrived for her appointment there were numerous other cats in carriers awaiting surgery. And, although we weren't trying to have the absolute best carrier, we clearly did 😍! I purchased one in anticipation of bringing home a new kitten to join my cat family. His foster dad ended up delivering him to me instead, but this carrier still played a crucial part in his introduction to my household. I set up one of his blankets and some food in the carrier, and he was able to feel safe and comfortable hanging out in there for the first day. I kept the "doors" closed when introducing him to my older cats, and the carrier provided the perfect "screen" to avoid swatting or clawing, and to allow my kitten and cats to view and sniff each other without feeling threatened. Then I put the carrier in the bathroom with the litter box and kept the main "door" open so that my kitten could come out into the bathroom and bedroom if he wanted. (I gave him access to the bathroom and bedroom when I would leave for work, etc., and kept the bedroom door closed so that he would be separated from my other cats.) After a day or so, he was comfortable outside of the carrier for the most part, but sometimes would go back in just to explore and play with it as another toy. (He particularly enjoyed using it as a tunnel when both doors were open.) His older sister also went in the carrier a few times to explore and take in his scent. I don't think the transition would have gone half as smoothly without this carrier. And in terms of using it as a carrier itself, I would say it's very comfortable to carry, whether you use the shoulder strap or the handles, and it fits the specifications for airline travel, which is fantastic. The only drawback is that it's definitely a bit small for a larger adult cat. My pleasantly plump 3 year old girl seemed to enjoy going in it, but I don't think it would be comfortable for her for longer periods. If you have an average-to-large-sized adult cat and don't need this carrier for airline travel, I would suggest getting the larger size. Otherwise, it's a solid purchase, well-made and offered in a variety of fun colors! ## Frequently Bought Together - Henkelion Cat Carriers Dog Carrier Pet Carrier For Small / Medium Cats Dogs Puppies (Up To 15lbs), TSA Airline Approved Small Dog Carrier Soft Sided, Collapsible Waterproof Travel Puppy Carrier - Grey - MECOOL Cat Scratching Post Premium Basics Kitten Scratcher Sisal Scratch Posts with Hanging Ball 22in for Kittens or Smaller Cats (22 inches for Kitten, Beige) - MeoHui Interactive Cat Toys - Retractable Wand Toy and Feather Toys Refills for Indoor Cats to Chase and Exercise --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/102936254-cat-carriers-dog-carrier-pet-carrier-for-small-medium-cats](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/102936254-cat-carriers-dog-carrier-pet-carrier-for-small-medium-cats) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
